SüfiFA – Finding qualified workers for South Thuringia

Focus of the project:
Recruitment and placement of foreign qualified workers and specialists, socio-educational assistance and care for the staff and support for the hiring companies, organizing and conducting in-service German language courses, corrective or refresher training for the staff, intercultural training and coaching.

Target group:
Small and medium size enterprises as well as micro-businesses within the following industries: processing trades, particularly the construction industry, metal, electrical and engineering industries as well as the plastics processing industry.

Short description of the project:
Project for providing support in finding qualified workers and specialists in a transnational context. Focus is on the support in acquisition and development of qualified workforce for small and medium-sized enterprises. In several project phases, up to 75 foreign qualified workers are to be integrated in the hiring companies within the industries of construction, metal processing, the electrical & engineering industry as well as the plastics processing industry. In the industries mentioned, activities are geographically limited to the towns of Suhl and Hildburghausen and the regions of Schmalkalden and Ilmenau/Arnstadt. Main focus is on demand-orientated and targeted acquisition, recruitment and placement of the foreign qualified workers and care and support to them as well as to the hiring companies.

EuMET – European Apprentices for metal trades in Thuringia (MobiPro-EU)

Acquisition and placement of youths and young adults in vocational training courses, securing training success, avoiding termination of the training courses.
